Love it! January 6, 2009 S. Roberson (oklahoma) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You can do so many things with this! You save a lot of dish washing using this. Everything from grilling steaks to frying eggs & sausage. This is the perfect gift for a man or a couple. (Really is Lean Cooking)
So far so good January 6, 2009 KE (Kentucky, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used the grill for waffles and meat but have not baked with it yet. I agree with most that the cross hatch top grill is a pain to clean. Not sure what anyone was thinking in making this particular design. Waffles came out perfect. I love the ability to remove the plates though storage is an issue of extra ones. A clever person will make a pouch to slide them in separately and make a bundle I'm sure.....
Really great grill January 5, 2009 Linda Barsalou (Springboro, OH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This grill has totally lived up to my expectations. I love the size and especially the interchangable plates. It does everything well. It makes great waffles and there is plenty of room for burgers and chicken and without any messy splatter that you get with a pan. I loved my old George Forman grill, but it was just too small and it was hard to clean the attached plates. Now I have everything, size, versitility and easy cleaning.
Definitely an excellent grill to knock out the FAT! January 4, 2009 B. Bautista (San Diego, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow. I am thoroughly impressed with this grill. I have heard about George Foreman's contact grills for awhile now but have always been resistant in buying one because of the cleaning issue. Now that his grill has evolved with removable plates, I was in the market for one! I recently bought this on a Black Friday day here for only $50! So far, I mainly use my grill for my Korean barbecue dishes and the occasional breakfast egg. The amount of fat sliding down is a sight to be seen. I couldn't believe how much fat it removed after the food was finished cooking. I definitely recommend buying one!
Great year-round grill for a family cooking January 1, 2009 Chicken Kiev (Shreveport, LA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For the price I paid ($50, GoldBox deal) I'm extremely happy with the grill. I wouldn't pay more than $100, but I'd recommed to purchase it if the price is below $80. It's a great grill. So far I used it to grill steaks and vegetables and to fry eggs. It did a great job every time. It does the work much better and faster than my outdoor cast iron grill. At first I was thinking this grill would be my "winter" grill, used in the comfort of indoor environment. Now I consider it my year-round family-dinner grill. For the parties I have to use my big outdoor grill, but for family cooking I'll use only my George Foreman.
