I bought this vacuum for my girlfriends daught as a Christmas present. We were very impressed by the cleaning power, features and overall engineering. Would recommed this vacuum cleaner for anyone looking for an up-right model.

This is an amazing vacuum! Very easy to use and the amount of dust, dog hair and dirt it picks up every time I use it is incredible; especially when none of it is visible on the carpet by just looking and the fact that I vacuum twice a week. I really appreciate how easy it is to empty the canister and that you are never dealing with a smelly, paper bag. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone considering this purchase. I previously had an expensive two-motor Hoover for 25 years.

Wife hated our previous vacuum cleaner, so I bought the DC25 for her for Christmas. I know, vacuum cleaner for a Christmas gift is not a good idea, but she got some jewelry also.
The three times she has used it since Christmas, she has loved it. It was fairly expensive, but it's more of an investment than something you buy and throw away. It's quieter than our previous vacuum and easy to manuver with the ball. To me, the cannister is a little small, but it's very easy to empty, so not a big deal. So far, so good.

First Dyson product purchase. The suction power is excellent, so much so I was not able to use it over my floor rug. Other than that, it was easy to assemble and works great.
