The lopper's fully-hardened stainless steel blade is replaceable, and can cut branches up to 2-inches in diameter. The blade also sports a non-stick coating for smooth and clean cuts all-season long. The tool also features strong and lightweight aluminum handles that are comfortable to hold and use. This tool comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
Amazon.com Review Produced by a leader in the garden-tools market, the Fiskars bypass pruner is perfect for precise, clean cutting of green growth. The pruner features Fiskars' trademarked PowerGear design, which maximizes lopper leverage to reduce cutting effort and is an ingenious innovation with impressive results. As you draw the long lopper handles together, the outside handle moves the gears, closing the blade with less exertion. The replaceable xylan-coated blade reduces friction and resists rust, and the handles are made of aluminum, so they're light and cause less fatigue. With its 2-inch cutting capacity, this is definitely a professional-quality pruner; even weekend gardeners can benefit from its fantastic design. Limited lifetime warranty.

Fiskars 9154, 31-1/2 inch Bypass Lopper March 11, 2010 Richard B. Figlar (PICKENS, SC, US) Definitely the best lopper I've ever had. It's rugged, forgiving, and easily cuts 2 inch diameter saplings.
Great Loppers December 9, 2009 Just A Buyer (Illinois) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These do everything the company says. I was surprised at how easy larger limbs were to cut compared to my old loppers. My wife tried these and was really pleased at how easy it was to cut limbs. (Hint, Hint, guys) Let me say I would not have tried to cut some of the big limbs with my old loppers (now gone to lopper heaven). If the jaws of these loppers fit around a limb they will cut it and so can you. Only once did I have a problem opening them (handles) wide enough to fit a limb inside a shrub, it was a big one. Most of the time I could find an angle to reach through with and cut inside limbs with no problem. I would recommend these to anyone who like me enjoys easy work. At 66 years old and surviveing throat cancer surgery I need that too.
Long lopper October 19, 2009 Bucyrusboy (Ohio) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I wanted a long handled lopper. This has long handles and cuts
through things easily with mechanical advantage designed leverage
of cutting blades. Two problems which I didn't anticipate. The
longer handles mean you have to open the handles much wider to
get the cutting blades around a large diameter branch which
is slightly awkward and "shortens" the reach somewhat. Also,
the regular size Fiskars is super light but this is a bit
heavier than I would have imagined. Overall fairly satisfied.
Ship, arrive time etc great.
best ever loppers October 17, 2009 Ken Lowe (rainbow valley,az) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i have been a landscaper for over 30 years.these loppers are the best i have ever used for any price.they will cut anything that the jaws will fit over.i had a pair of 25" that i have had and used for two years.never needed sharpening.(use every day.)they have a lifetime guarantee.a perfect tool of the trade. i am almost certain that both of these will out live me and i can pass them on to my heirs.well worth far more than i paid for either of them.
Clean fence line, less effort October 11, 2009 Jim Hootsell (Natchez, MS USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Lightweight with good grips helped me clip 1 to 2 inch oak and pecan growth from level with 4 foot chain link property fencing. Much easier and safer than using pruning saw. Less muscle burnout than when using hand saw.
Compound action does increase ease of use, and without having to open handles all the way out. Happy with the Quality and Price.
