Get ready for a workout because this edger requires a lot of it. Theirs a little sidebar or "foot-kick" that you can push it through the ruff stuff but its (the foot-kick) a little small and could be placed in a better spot, but it does work. I am happy with the product.

I was looking for a tool that would allow me to keep my patio edged nicely without creating a lot of noise as my side yard is rather near my neighbor's home. After the initial run (which gave me a nice clean line to follow after the edger removed the excess grass and soil) I find it very easy to keep the edges nice and neat. I also use it on other edge sites and it does a nice job. I am a 70 year old lady who loves to keep my garden looking great and likes to get a little exercise as a bonus. I would recommend this tool if you don't mind a little effort to get the job done.
