Awesome Rake January 31, 2010 C. Brinckman (Pennsburg, PA) Buddy told me about this rake...said it was better than anything I had tried before. Didn't believe him till I tried it myself. For light leaves and sticks nothing cleans better and leaves the grass underneath completely undamaged...I use it on my customer lawns with confidence. Couldn't find this in local store, got two from Amazon with free shipping! Incredible deal...incredible rake!
Best Rake EVER January 12, 2010 C. Bernholdt This rake is really a superior rake. I have seen people using the older metal rakes and having less success than with the Fiskars one. The design is comfortable and cleans up my yard flawlessly. The tines really do create less work with their curved design and handle a large area of leaves with one sweep. I loved these rakes so much that I have bought ones for both parents and in-laws and they agree that they are better. It is durable and lightweight, and the best rake I have ever had.
Light, well balanced November 17, 2009 P. Scott (Burnt Hills, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have 4 rakes like this. Good size. Light enough that I can use it for hours and my young daughters can use them too.
Hey, it's only a rake. But yes, it rocks the yard. October 13, 2009 E. Mead (Beantown, New England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Worried about the cost. Gathered up my courage and ordered it. Love it.
long, hard shafts! June 28, 2009 Bartok Kinski (Prague) 0 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is my 24th Leaf Rake, so I am obviously sold on the usefulness of the little, gentle, long, 24-Inch, hard shafts!
If you are a distracting person--not necessarily a DILIGENT person, but a person who has an intrusively active life, and has to remember lots of information, keep lots of appointments, dig often, etc., I believe you will fall in love with these devices if you try them.
I use mine for the traditional purposes of raking and dirting my garden, but also to put reminders the long shaft to myself in the future, such as "rebalanace mutual funds in IRA" twice a year. I also use this as a memory bank for odd little bits of information I may find useful, by recording the information in a note, along with several key words I will think of when I want to remember the specifics months later, and taping the note to the Softouch Rake handle. I search for the keywords, and there is the note, displayed to the Softouch Rake handle so I can see it. But most of the time I can't make heads or tails of what the note meant so I just rake the dirt.
