This are amazing Loppers! I was able to easily cut through 3" sticks. The loppers are well made and extremely easy to use requiring very little strength. I highly recommend them.

The good stuff - loppers are made with the great Fiskars quality and design.
So-so stuff - they are a bit heavier that we expected and not as well balance as some of the other Fiskars tools that we used. We ended up sending them back with no problem (thanks Amazon!) and purchased a smaller/lighter bypass pruning set.
Bottom line - if you need to clean up some serious deadwood or lots and lots of pruning, go for these loppers. They are well built and should work well for you.

I've used my share of loppers, this is a nice lightweight unit with the newest version of teh PowerGear that doesn't require it to open 180 degrees. It's a bit more expensive then the average, but you get a great company, product, warranty. It's a great deal.

cuts dead branchs very well, very stiff jaw, and you don't have to spread you arms so wide comparing to previous power gear, a solid product.

I had ordered these Fiskar Loppers with the intention of giving them to my husband for Christmas. I am an early shopper. We had a couple of good summer storms here in Phoenix and had to do some major trimming, but my husband didn't have any decent loppers to use. When I told him what I had ordered he said they wouldn't be what he wants and I would probably have to send them back. He tried them out and absolutely loves them. He said he'd let me do the shopping from now on!
