haven't used it yet, just got it today, it would be weird if it 'didn't work', i've been using saran wrap to insulate germinating seeds during winter cold indoors in the back shed where the heater doesn't fully work... this short dome will be useful as it is reusable and professional looking whatnot

also it fits the Standard Flat Insert/72 Compartment seedling tray i got with it

Excellent product, but one has to be careful with the high humidity and fungus. It takes a while to get the grip out of this product. Especially if one is providing warmth to the bottom. Pre-treatment of the soil and seeds is a must. Appropriate ventilation too. And to finish, at some point you have to decide to uncover the tray (remove the dome) for good.
