5 out of 5 stars Practical composter   January 6, 2009
Steve Silverman (Front Royal, VA)
I just drop our kitchen vegetable waste into this and it disappears.
It rots as fast as it accumulates. I do occasionally add a bit of fertilizer or manure.

I keep a covered pot in the kitchen and empty the pot into the composter as the pot gets full.

Easy to assemble and deploy. Just don't drive a car or tractor over it! :-)

2 out of 5 stars Way overpriced   November 9, 2008

Very basic; if you have any skill at all, you're better off building your own compost bin--it will be much cheaper.

4 out of 5 stars Simple, effective, decent capacity   May 12, 2007

My parents bought compost containers similar to this many years ago. They are simple to setup, move, and use. My only complaint is that this particular product was more expensive than I would have liked.
