Amazon.com Product Description The Fiskars big grip garden knife features a comfortable grip and an oversized tool head to provide added comfort and control. The garden knife is an ideal choice for digging, planting, weeding, and transplanting. It sports a serrated edge on one side to cut through tough roots and a straight blade on the other side ideal for digging. The pre-sharpened edges are designed to cut through the ground easier. The middle of the blade has a trough-like indention for transplanting soil or seeds, and has a notched tip at the end to remove weeds. The metal blade is also coated with a rust-resistant material, and the handle features a large hang hole for easy storage. The tool comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Garden Tool January 6, 2009 Roxie Mack (State Road, NC) I was very pleased with how fast the item arrived. I have already used the garden knife in my garden and it is as great as I'd hoped. The knife edge cuts old debris from the plants easily. The forked end pulls up weeds by the roots and the handle is comfortable. I'm very pleased with the garden knife.
It is not that good Not full tang in handle December 15, 2008 Kath (Akron Ohio) I like to garden I usually like Fiskars equipment This one is a BIG DISSAPOINTMENT. While digging weeds the handle bent. Under the rubber handle is a thin piece of steel that looks like a wire it maybe has a 1/8 inch diameter. The handle is very cheaply reinforced. Not a full piece of steel of a heavy cylinder welded to the hilt. Just a cheap piece of steel that is way toooooo thin No heft to it. Save your money if you are buying this for weeding or digging.
Dangerous looking, but perfect for the intended use November 26, 2008 Duane Sparks All the grandkids wanted this. They think it's some sort of cool weapon. It does what it should do...gardening!
Super Tool October 26, 2008 E. Merkle As a gardener for year, I am so pleased to find this tool. It is a great multi-purpose tool and very comfortable to use.

Fiskars Big Grip Garden Knife #7079 My wife & I have used this knife (digger) many times to remove weeds from the lawn and garden. It has worked flawlessly, yet easily and I can't wait to try it out when metal detecting since we have some heavy, clay-like ground.
