Product Description
FELCO 12 Recommended for heavy and prolonged pruning as well as for small hands. The revolving handle spreads the muscular force evenly over the five fingers, thus preventing tendinitis and inflammation. Handles with rubber shock absorber and cushion for protecting the wrist, toothed centre-nut for aligning the cutting and anvil blades easily for a clean and precise cut. Blade with wire-cutting notch, sap groove, screwed anvil blade, forged aluminium alloy handles.

It takes a little while to get used to this tool, but I made the switch in this, my 50th year, when I discovered a sudden swelling and pain in my hand after pruning all day with my fixed-handle felco, which has served me well for 20 years. I have not tried pruning all day with this tool, and I'm told I probably should not, but I have used it extensively, and I really like the feel of the rolling handle spreading out the muscle strain in my hand.

About 4 years ago, I bought the small Felco pruners (I think they're the #6)and I'm very pleased with them. They've outlasted all of the other pruners I've owned. Four years without being sharpened and they're still cutting well. I expect the same from these.
