Amazon.com Product Description Perfect for pruning or weeding jobs, the Fiskars Kangaroo 10-gallon gardening container holds itself open, freeing your hands for work. The Kangaroo's unique spring design springs up to a 15-inch diameter, 10-gallon capacity, just waiting to be filled with weeds, pruned branches, or raked leaves. When you're done, the container can be collapsed and stored easily in a compact, ready-to-hang 2-inch stack. The heavy-gauge vinyl construction is tear and mildew resistant, and the Kangaroo fits standard 10-gallon garbage can liners. Its is covered by a 2-year warranty.

gardening bin August 27, 2008 JKW (Annapolis, Md. United States) This was a replacement for a previous pop-up bin that I wore out after years of hard use. I find this to be the perfect size for weeding and light pruning. Anything bigger would be too heavy by the time it was full. A larger version might be great for leaf collecting. It doesn't take up much room, so I don't feel a need to collapse it, but it's nice to know I can.
Lightweight helper July 23, 2008 I. Buccella (Philadelphia PA) This garden container is wonderful for collecting leaves and other yard debris. It is sizable and lightweight for portability.
What a great idea July 8, 2008 Robert Bartel (Columbia, MO USA) I have only used this a few times now, but based on the strength of the reviews here I took the plunge. I LOVE having this when I'm working in the yard. Its lightweight and portability, plus the collapsable storage, make it a great friend in the yard. The only reservation I have is that it developed several small holes in the bottom after being dragged across a concrete patio with an embedded gravel surface. Since I've only had this for a couple of weeks, and only used it two or three times so far, I can't comment on it's life expectancy. However, I would recommend being careful about abrading the bottom. I wish they had used a heavier canvas bottom.
Fiskar July 5, 2008 Mary Forman (Voorhees NJ) We bought 2 sizes of the Fiskars basket for cleaning up yard vegetation, they are perfect. They are light weight and durable.
Lightweight, stowable, more agile than a wheelbarrow April 10, 2008 Genny (Guerneville, CA USA) Our local waste collection company provides greenwaste containers for us to recycle yard debris into compost -- good! But it's too much trouble to wheel the giant greenwaste containers around the redwoods to the other part of my yard. Even a wheelbarrow wouldn't fit very well. No problem! Easily pop out this carrier to full size, fill with weeds and fallen redwood debris, and carry it back to the greenwaste container. I'm really glad I got this smaller 10 gallon size rather than the larger 30 gallon size, because the small one can be pretty easily carried all the way around the outside of the house when full.
