The head of this forged carbon spade is super heat treated and tempered for strength and is treaded for more comfortable digging. It is coated with hammer finish epoxy for improved resistance to rust and scratches and measures 11" x 6". Solid neck, three rivets and strapped for extra strength. The extra long hardwood shaft is weatherproofed for durability. This spade has a traditional wooden T-handle. 25 year guarantee.
