This little invention is a must-have for every gardener.
I first bought the Soil Crumbler nearly 20 years ago when it was sold by The Scotts Company. It didn't fall apart. I just used it to death and wanted a brand new one. I still have the original.
The product is exactly same but Wolf did change the color from green to red which I think is terrific. Additionally, Wolf offers a wood pole which I like so much better than the plastic over aluminum pole I bought originally.
I consider this weird and funky implement as key a tool as the shovel and rake.

Like the other reviews stated, this is a great tool that does exactly what I was hoping for. It works great for removing weeds, and cultivating the soil. I even used it for mixing plant food into the soil. I nice addition to my growing number of WOLF-Garten tools.

Weeds and crumbles the soil at the same time, while providing a level surface for gardens and flower beds, the best if ever used!

This little wonder has been the envy of my neighborhood when it comes to landscaping tools. They claim it is good for mixing peat moss with soil but they fail to mention how it works with sod. I have found that this tool, with a minor amount of muscle, can transform a patch of lawn into a flower bed in no time! Pushing the cutter just under the soil surface will leave a nice strip of sod that can easily be rolled up transplanted or mulched. The tool also works great for preparing the garden for planting by tilling the soil without "moving" it down the garden.
