Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description The Fiskars pro chopping axe features a high quality drop-forged steel blade for maximum durability and sharpness. The blade is also treated with a non-stick coating for smooth cuts and rust resistance. The axe head has been insert-molded into the handle to ensure that the axe head will never get loose. The axe handle is 28-inches long for maximum leverage, and made from a super-strong Nyglass material--a strong, but lightweight nylon/fiberglass composite that provides long-lasting durability. The axe also includes a blade sheath for safe storage and easy transportation and includes a limited lifetime warranty.

for a chrirtmas present December 14, 2008 Keith Steigers have used before when packing into the Bob marshall wilderness with my horses and mules, Worked great
awesome chopping axe December 14, 2008 King Ghidora (Planet X) I've had and used many axes over the years and this is by far the best chopping axe I've ever used. It isn't a splitting axe so make sure you choose the right tool for the job. But if you want to clear trees from your favorite ATV trail this axe will flat do the job. If you want to knock down trees on a fire line this axe is excellent. If you want to split wood buy the right axe.
What a great axe... October 5, 2008 James J. Curley (Bozrah, CT) This axe goes through wood like a hot knife through butter. Well balanced and a pleasure to use.
Handy axe September 30, 2008 Eric W (Duluth, MN) This axe is really nice to use. It's really light, but that lets you swing it harder, so it's still very effective. Have had good luck chopping, and even splitting small stuff. Highly recommended.
best axe August 4, 2008 Scott A. Patterson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have owned this axe for over 4 years. I have hand spit over 20 chords of wood with it and it is still going.
