This Kenyon Tool Pro-Grade All Steel Planting Mattock (Pick) is one tough tool to include in your rockhounding gear. It's a handy size pick to carry when you're rockhounding. It's a very ''Heavy-Duty'' short handled tool for the serious rockhound. All steel construction with a generous handle diameter vinyl grip. With a 14 overall length this mattock has 2'' wide by 3/16'' thick pick-hoe ends on each side of the head. Use the pick-hoe to break up the soils and gravel then use a hand cultivating rake to scratch your way through your prospect pile to get at those specimens. You can also practice digging for gold by using it in the garden on those weekends when you can't get away.
