Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
CONEIVORE will pick pine cones off the ground so you don't have to bend over and hurt your back or poke your fingers on sharp barbs. The slotted cap allows pine or any other cone at least 2 to 7 inches to slip into the tube when the tube is pushed down on it. The tube will hold 15 to 18 cones at which point you simply turn the tube upside down and dump the cones out. All to be done while you stand upright! This convenient, lightweight-yet-durable lawn tool makes yard work feel like anything but work. Its easy and its fun while making life easier.

1 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money   January 7, 2009
Joyce M. (Georgia)
Sounds great, doesn't it? Such a simple concept to save a lot of bending over. The reality is quite different. I found that I had to expend a lot of energy really slamming the Coneivore onto a pine cone to make the plastic fingers bend enough to pick it up. Even then, several jabs were often required to pick up a single cone. I gave up before filling it a single time. It might work if the fingers were more flexible, but as presently configured, it is worse than useless because it takes up space. I recommend that you spend the money on a good pair of gardening gloves and resign yourself to bending over.
