50' Industrial Copper Light String. Suspended above a patio or the length of a garden, these copper hanging lamps shed a soft light over after-dark gatherings. TheyUre made to replicate the light strings illuminating European piazzas for late-night strollers. Far beefier than a typical light strand, these strings are fitted with molded rubber sockets that accept ten full-size bulbs (25-40 watts recommended). UL-listed for indoor or outdoor use. Also available with galvanized steel or glass shades (see Accessories). Bulbs not included. To suspend over long distances, a wire cable (not included) must be used.

Great light string, but picture is slightly wrong March 1, 2008

First, I love this light string! We've got it hanging over our patio and it provides a nice, inviting glow. The cord seems very heavy duty and hanging it was simple.
One point of caution, the picture that accompanies the product (or did when I purchased it and also now when I write this review) is of the copper version of this same light string. So, this string looks just like the picture, only the lamp shades are galvanized tin colored rather than copper.
