The first one I received I could not get the pilot to light. The replacement works fine. Maybe I did something wrong on the first. Relatively easy to assemble. The one thing I am curious about is that no where in the manual (or anywhere else) can I find out who manufactured it or anything about a warranty. When I was having problems with the first one Amazon.com gave me what was purported to be the manufacturer for me to contact. I sent them a fax and they called me back immediately to tell me they did not manufacture it. Apparently Amazon.com doesn't even know who made it. Weird, yes????

Decent value for the cost (Paid $175). Easy to assemble but the nuts/bolts are poor quality. Be careful or you'll strip a stud! The aluminum look is nice.Lighting the pilot and unit works every time. We used it for about 7 hours and I swear my face felt a twinge of sunburn. We were comformtable sitting around the heater however the effective heating distance in about 40 degrees is 6ft. On my next purchase, I'll get a heater that has a door around the cylinder base to remove/replace the propane tank and to turn the propane on/off instead of having to lift the base and hold it. I used the Prime overnight option for $3.99 and the unit was delived by 10am the next morning - sweet!

The image showed no screws on the top of the heater - I dislike this look very much and returned a heater because of that.I added this heater to my wish list because it looked good (no screws on top part) and the price was right. To my surprise I got it as a gift. You have to screw 4 parts together on the top -again it's all screwed. I wanted to return it, but I am rquired to pay for the return shipping on this item - too costly, now I have to keep it. These are the problems with online orders - pictures show sometimes not what you are getting.-

Sent as a gift to my son and after assembled it will not light. It was assembled after 30 days so no full refund. Looks great and perfect size for deck but not any good if will not lite.
