1 out of 5 stars Very cheap and flimsy   October 20, 2008
Christopher Boedigheimer
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you're putting it into VERY soft tilled dirt. The fence is very flimsy and the stakes used to secure it are thin plastic that are impossible to get in straight.

Each piece connects together by single sided hooks which come undone when bumped. Very disappointing. Impossible to install this along the sidewalk and get in a straight line.

3 out of 5 stars Looks okay from a distance   October 7, 2008

From a distance, or from the front, this will appear okay for my border garden. I wanted in for the front yard (small border by my sidewalk garden) but the quality would not be great "curb appeal" (I've relocated it to the backyard garden area). The back side of the fence is hollow-like not at all like the front. So if you are putting it where you will be able to easily see the back, it will look cheap. You can also quite easily see where it "hooks" together. My main problem was the description said it was 13" high, which is not entirely true. They measured from the tip of the steak (that goes underground) to the highest point of the arch. It's actually about 9" at the highest point from the ground. Overall, if you want a LITTLE border to tame back some bushes or flowers this could work good. It will by no means stop a dog or cat (very thin and flimsy) but if untouched it looks okay and spruces up the border.

5 out of 5 stars Great for a garden themed bedroom   January 19, 2008

We ordered this picket fence to use in our daughter's butterfly garden themed bedroom. We used the picket fence along one wall above the baseboards and added some silk gerber daisies. It looks so adorable. After considering our options for a picket fence in her bedroom, this was the best choice. It's scale to the room was appropriate and it's safe (no spliters or sharp edges). We screwed it into the wall and used white plastic screw covers to finish it out. It arrived in excellent condition and in relatively no time. Great product and great service.

4 out of 5 stars Charming addition to my garden   July 3, 2007

The picket fence edging was simple to install and looks darling at the back of my little garden. Actually makes the garden look larger because of the small height. Some of the connections did not hold well, but I simply tied them together with fishline.

4 out of 5 stars Works Well   June 20, 2007

The picket edge fencing pieces were easy to attach to each other and arrange in our garden. They have held up sturdily even through very heavy rainstorms, and continue to look nice as edging pieces. It was a simple and nice way to add some flair to our garden.
