Product Description The SunSetter Motorized SUPER PRO Awning: Simply press a button and get the ultimate in cool shade and protection instantly. The SunSetter Motorized Awning operates effortlessly in seconds, so you can control the weather on your deck or patio. This awning is a "lateral arm" style. The motor operates strong support arms that open and close directly under the awning canopy. No vertical or diagonal support arms are needed. It's the finest motorized awning available today, unsurpassed for beauty, convenience, protection, and affordability. This remarkable awning gives you the same features -- or better -- than other electric awnings costing hundreds or even thousands of dollars more, including a sophisticated dual cable system that needs no vertical supports, plus a reliable SOMFY motor -- the best in the industry -- hidden inside the awning roller. The SUPER PRO awning includes these accessories: Front crank down Weatherbreaker, side Weatherbreaker panel, hand crank wand, awning cover, remote control, cleaning kit, and patio lights.

only OK April 26, 2008 Eric Loche 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased a pair of 16' motorized awnings with remote controls. They work good except for the remote. Every time the power flickers the code must be reste - which is a cumbersome and time consuming procedure. I have no idea why they didn't thing enough to put a battery in the receiver to retain the codes in this event. Seems like a no-brainer... but they didn't. So the remote is vurtually useless. If you are going to get a motorized awning, get the wired wall switch - it is worth the extra trouble to install.
