Granddaughter's toy January 28, 2010 Douglas L. Sullivan Easily movable from outdoors to inside for rainy or cold weather. She will enjoy this for several years. She is a little young for it at the moment, but her older brother is making good use of it.
Top warped by the warmth from a plate of food. December 4, 2009 Mom of two (Las Vegas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this table for my son to use to color on but occasionally we would serve his lunch to him on it. The warmth from his food actually warped the top of the table. It's not like we were serving him HOT food just warm food. The top became soo warped toys and crayons would roll off and we could no longer even set a juice cup on it without it falling over. We upgraded to the next size table and we are much more careful what types of food we serve on it. I am usually always satisfied with the quality of Little Tikes but a table which is usually where you eat should be more durable to hold up to a warm plate being placed on it.
junior kid's picnic table-mixed review November 22, 2009 Savta (New York) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
this table needed a strong man to set it up. however, even he could not get it to collapse. if he would absolutely force the mechanism, it would probably snap. if i did not have to pay return shipping, i would have returned the table once this became apparent.
i ordered the table without an umbrella, but got one with a hole in the middle and an umbrella. since i don't want the umbrella, i had to think of a way to efficiently cover the hole, so my 2 1/2 year old grandson wouldn't continually stuff things through it. i bought colorful contact paper that gave a lift to the drab coloration of the table.
my grandson, who is tall for is age, likes the table and fits well. it looks like 3 others his age could sit at the table. but, there would be little space for all four to use the table top
All round the year use. October 27, 2009 pfaltzgraff fan (San jose CA USA) This is a great little picnic table. My son (1.5 years) loves to sit at "his" table in the sun. The table is easy to clean and folds up conveniently for storage. Planning to use it indoors over the winter for drawing and other messy activities. It's sturdy enough for a full sized adult to sit at, although, getting down to it and legs under is a challenge. I would not describe the table as educational or fun, but as a place to educate and have fun.
very pleased July 9, 2009 KB I have had this table for about a month and I am very pleased. It was easy to set up. My daughter is 2 years old and rather tall for her age, and she fits at the table perfectly. We've had 3 toddlers sitting at the table, at the same time, comfortable as well. The table is easy to clean, was a great price, has room to grow with my daughter, and seems to be durable.
