Might have been nice if it came in one piece June 25, 2010 Theodore Kloba (Chicago, IL USA) When the first one arrived broken, I blamed UPS. I returned for exchange to receive another with the glass broken. It seemed like it might have been nice looking, but since Amazon can't get the shipping right, I returned for refund.
garden stake review June 1, 2010 S. Hoyt (Syracuse, NY United States) the yard stakes arrived in a timely manner, unbroken. However they don't glow all that much, despite being in the sun all day long. In that respect, I'm a bit disappointed in them.
Great for astrologers and astronomers December 29, 2009 Brent Fontes (Monterey, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this as a gift for my favorite astrology hippy friend lol. Its a bit smaller than I expected for the price, but the quality is good. of course it was the size they advertised, but for some reason I got it stuck in my head that it was just a bit bigger. I love the color of the glass in the day time and it has a very relaxing swirly glow at night. I'm actually thinking of getting the larger spheres for my own garden later.
Uhappy with product October 12, 2009 SDB (Seattle) This product, though nice to look at in the daytime, does not glow in the dark and never has. It has full sun all day long. The only reason I did not send it back was because I like how the globe looks in our garden.
No glow, back it goes May 14, 2009 DianneB (Vermont) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this based on the other reviews here. I put it in a sunny spot in my garden. The first night I saw a faint, faint glow. Ok, I figured maybe it needed another day of full sun. The next night I actually had to go out in my garden with a flashlight to find this thing. Needless to say, I pulled it out of the ground this morning and it's on its way back to the store. Could I have gotten a dud?
