Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Orange Jasmine is grown for it's fragrance and the white flowers. It is an easy to grow, house plant and also makes an excellent indoor bonsai. Cultural Practices: The Orange Jasmine is hardy in zones 10-11. If grown outdoors in zones 10/11 it gets about 12 feet tall. In cooler regions it should be grown as a house plant or patio plant. Indoors it rarely gets over 3 to 4 feet in height and can be trimmed even shorter. It enjoys regular feeding and a good soil. Keep the soil evenly moist and fertilize regularly. This easy to grow house plant does best in a bright, filtered light window. Blooming Habits: The very fragrant white flowers come in flushes at different times during the spring, summer, and fall. Fruiting Habits: Dark red to orange, oblong berries, up to 0.5 inch long (12 mm).

5 out of 5 stars Going strong   November 12, 2008
Lindy (Norfolk, VA)
The plant was very small when it arrived. I have had it for one year (inside) and it is doing very well, it's probably about 12" tall now. It will probably be a while before it flowers. I would purchase again, but you do need patience!

1 out of 5 stars Nothing like the pictures   October 11, 2008
M. Li (TX United States)
I ordered this plant because of the positive reviews. When I opened the box, I was totally disappointed with this plant that is 1 inch tall and has at most 10 leaves. It is nothing like the pictures. I don't know how long it will take for this plant to grow into the ones in those pictures.

4 out of 5 stars Very small   October 6, 2008
Nicole (Up North)
I was a bit disapointed with the size of this plant, although it is very healthy looking. No blooms, and 3 inches tall max. I ordered another Jasmine (Arabian Tea Jasmine) from Herts at the same time and it was more of what I expected. It (Arabian tea) arived with blooms on it and it smells wonderful. At lest 12 inches tall. Because of the Arabian Tea Jasmine I have great hope for the Orange Jasmine. I would purchse again.

5 out of 5 stars Taking a chance   August 31, 2008
J. Lefever (Western Slope, Co.)
After bying several plants from Hirts and being very pleased, I bought two Orange Jasmine. While they arrived in very good condition and very healthy, they were also VERY small and not near to being ready to flower. Both have been repoted in a 6" pot and have taken off in a sunny window. At the rate they are growing, I am very sure that both will eventually grow to the size where they will flower as shown, but don't expect them to be as shown. I wanted some Orange Jasmine and am willing to wait.
