If you live in an excessively rainy climate or a climate that is prone to monsoon-type weather, this outdoor temperature and rain sensor can satisfy your curiousity about what's happening outside. The rain sensor collects rainfall from a flat, outdoor location and then wirelessly transmits data to an indoor display. The rain meter reports data in inches and you can manually reset the display to recalculate after the end of a rainy cycle. The bottom of the rain meter's display reports the temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius for an indoor location or an outdoor area using the included remote sensor. The meter has only one button for programming, making it simple to operate. This rain gauge provides readings from a wall or tabletop and is covered by a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

I bought this item several months ago and I have been very please with the accuracy of the rainfall as well as the temp. Would certainly buy it again, especially if it was on SALE.

I bought this rain gauge for my wife for Christmas. Straight out of the box it did not work. The rain gauge does nothing, and the temperature guide varies way to much. I have tried to contact customer service with no success. I did receive an E-mail from someone asking for the model and my name so that they could start the return process, but have not heard back from them in a month.
